They are just fooling us,between 6am to 9am they reduces the speed to 35KBps (KiloByte) in 3g network after the 9am the speed gets a 450KBps (KiloByte) so this is not 3g offer only 2g offer.
P.s: im in 3g/wcdma mode and selected network manually as AIRCEL,from davanagere,karnataka

Very true…. they are doing the same in Orissa as well. Also, they are limiting the no of simultaneous connections for downloads of the same link to 2 (on port 80). So, using IDM or other download managers won’t help much.

I wonder if Aircel is following Tata Docomo’s way of giving good offers only to specific circles !! There is a service on Aircel network called “Simpossible” (chk simpossible.in), which offers free 5MB internet, 5 mins calls (1 min each to 5 num) and 5 SMS free everyday without any rental or other charges.. The recharge plans look really cool in simpossible..
But, this is available in AP & KA circles alone !!!

Videocon has revised its voice and 2G data packs in all of their 4 operational circles i.e Gujarat, Haryana, MP and Punjab. Though the main website is not updated yet but I came to know about the changes from the online recharge option visible on main page of their website videocon.com. They have tie-up with RechargeItNow. You can also check it by going to
rechargeitnow.com/videoconmobile/videoconmobile.jsp.
Key in your number and click Recharge. Then select special recharge. It will show all voice, sms and data packs. There you can see the changes.
For Haryana, new 2G packs are as follows-
1. Rs.5- 75 MB- 1 Day (Before- 35MB. It’s actually offering more now)
2. Rs.13- 300 MB- 3 Days (Before- 500MB)
3. Rs.22- 500 MB- 7 Days (Before- 1GB)

Found in some other website that, in Chennai circle, on dialing this code Rs 5 is deducted and a 3G rate cutter is activated. The rate cutter details are, the charges for browsing on 3G N/W is 40p/MB and it’s valid for 30 days..
TT can you please provide some confirmation on this ?? And, can you please confirm if Aircel is planning to introduce this in Chennai / RoTN circles ??

Aircel has shutdown in some towns in AP like vizag etc, there Aircel users can select network as DOCOMO to offer voice calls only (no data). In other parts where 3G coverage can avail this offer.

1. If u have 128 plan, then from 6 to 9 AM the data will be deducted in FREE usage and in Remaining time it will deduct from 500MB 3G Data as per 128.
2. Its available in all circle where home or Roaming circle having Aircel 3G Coverage.
