Earlier this month, Xiaomi launched the 50-inch Mi TV 4S in China. The Chinese smartphone maker is now back with two new editions of Mi TV 4S along with other models. Xiaomi announced Mi TV 4C, 4X and two variants of the 4S. The top of the line Xiaomi Mi TV 4X comes with ultra-thin bezels and piano back finish. It features a standard 4K display. Inside, a 64-bit quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM powers the smart TV. On the storage front, the Xiaomi Mi TV 4X offers 8GB of internal storage. It has two 8W speakers with support for Dolby/DTS audio decoding. The Mi TV 4X is priced at 2,799 Yuan (approx Rs 29,700) and is bundled with Bluetooth audio remote control.
The next in line is Xiaomi Mi TV 4S models. Unlike the Mi TV 4X, the 4S comes with metal-finished bezels and body with curvature. The 55-inch Mi TV 4S features a curved 4K display with a 4000R curvature with direct type backlight. This smart TV is powered by 64-bit quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB native storage. It also includes two 8W speakers, along with support for H.264/265 decoding, support for Dolby Audio/DTS-HD audio decoding and Bluetooth enable audio remote control. The 55-inch Mi TV 4S is priced 3,299 Yuan (approx Rs 35,000).
The 42-inch Xiaomi Mi TV 4S houses a 4K HDR display. The hardware specifications include 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. The Mi TV 4S has a pair of 6W speakers and carries support for Dolby/DTS dual decoding. It can be availed for 1,799 Yuan (Rs 19,000).
Lastly, the Xiaomi Mi TV 4C is the most affordable option of all. The device features a 32-inch display set at HD resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and offers a viewing angle of 178 degrees. Memory options include 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The TV is equipped with dual 8W speakers and carries support for DTS-HD decoding. Connectivity options include two HDMI ports, 1 USB and 3.5mm audio jack. The device comes at a super attractive price of 999 Yuan (approx Rs 10,600).
Bookings for 55-inch Mi TV 4X, 55-inch and 43-inch Mi TV 4S and 32-inch Mi TV 4C have already opened in China but the Mi TV models will only go live for sale starting May 31. There is, however, no information so far on the Indian launch dates of the Xiaomi’s new TV lineup.
