The Rs 299 prepaid plan from Vodafone offers validity of 70 days, but the benefits aren't the best in the business. Bharti Airtel also has a Rs 299 prepaid plan, but it's way better than that of Vodafone's new Rs 299 prepaid recharge, except for the validity. Vodafone is shipping a total of 3GB of 2G/3G/4G data, unlimited voice calling and 1000 SMSes for the entire validity period. Bharti Airtel, on the other hand, is providing unlimited voice calling, 100 SMSes per day, 3GB data per day for a period of just 28 days. Additionally, Airtel's plan ships with one-month of Amazon Prime subscription worth Rs 129 for free, which isn't the case with the Vodafone's plan.

New Rs 299 Vodafone Prepaid Plan Details

On taking a look at the Vodafone prepaid portfolio, we came across the Rs 299 prepaid plan, which is a bonus card offering from Vodafone. This plan by Vodafone comes with 70 days validity, and in this period, subscribers will enjoy free unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. As for data, the subscribers will enjoy 3GB data for the entire validity period along with 1000 SMS for 70 days.

The crucial thing to note is that the 3GB data is not for per day but instead the subscribers will enjoy the 3GB data for the entire 70 days period. The same will be the case for 1000 SMS as well. Given this information, we can say that the Rs 299 prepaid plan will be more suited for consumers who use less data and are more inclined towards voice calling. It is also worth noting that this plan comes with no talk time.

Vodafone Rs 229 Prepaid Plan and Rs 16 Filmy Recharge Details

Recently, Vodafone has also launched the Rs 229 prepaid plan for its subscribers, and this plan offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. As for data, this plan offers more data as compared to the Rs 299 prepaid plan. The subscribers of this Rs 229 prepaid plan get to enjoy 2GB data per day. The validity of this prepaid plan is 28 days, so the total data that the users get to enjoy in this plan over the entire validity period is 56GB.

The subscribers of the Rs 229 Vodafone prepaid plan also get 100 SMS per day in their credit, and they get additional benefits in this plan also including access to free live TV, movies and more on the Vodafone Play App. Vodafone previously used to offer the Rs 255 prepaid plan with the same benefits, so in a way, Vodafone has reduced the price of its Rs 255 plan down to Rs 229. Vodafone has also recently launched the filmy recharge for Rs 16 which gets the subscribers 1GB data for 24 hours to watch latest blockbuster movies on their device.

Vodafone Rs 299 Prepaid Plan vs Airtel Rs 299 Prepaid Recharge

As mentioned above, Bharti Airtel is also providing the same denomination prepaid plan to its customers, but it's a unique offering from the former leading telecom operator. Although Airtel is shipping benefits for just 28 days, the actual benefits of the plan are way better than that of Vodafone's Rs 299 prepaid plan. Airtel's Rs 299 recharge is an open market one providing unlimited voice calling, 100 SMSes day, 3GB daily data and free Amazon Prime subscription worth Rs 129 for one month. Vodafone's plan just ships with data, calling and SMS benefits, which is the case with all the telco's other plans, so Airtel is clearly a winner compared to Vodafone. But if care validity, then the Rs 299 plan from Vodafone is a great option for you.
