Vodafone Launches Blackberry’s Touchscreen Storm

Research In Motion (RIM) along with Vodafone has introduced  BlackBerry Storm smartphone, the first BlackBerry smartphone to feature a touch-screen in India.

The BlackBerry Storm delivers innovative new features and fast performance with the many benefits for which BlackBerry smartphones are known – exceptional wireless email capabilities, premium phone features and multimedia, full HTML Internet access and support for a wide range of mobile data applications.




The BlackBerry Storm has stunning 480 x 360 pixel color display with high definition-like picture quality and with unique SurePress technology navigation and typing are made more accurate.

It also automatically adjusts to offer portrait and landscape views, along with a rich multimedia experience that includes a full HTML browser, expandable memory up to 16GBGB (8GB micro SDHC card is included), and a video-capable 3.2 megapixel camera with built-in flash, autofocus and a photo uploader that makes posting pics to Flickr in a snap.

BlackBerry Strom will be available exclusively for Vodafone customers from January 15,2009 with a price tag worth Rs27,990 .
