Videocon Telecom, which is backed by Venugopal Dhoot, has launched customisable "My Plan" for Prepaid customers across its operational circles. My Plan enables Videocon Mobile customers to create their own customised pack in accordance with their monthly usage. To get the benefits and make customised packs, Videocon prepaid customers need to dial *123*7#, which will redirect them to a variety of packs and benefits as per validity.

Most of the users on Videocon, chose the network for its lower voice rates, which means that this new plan will act as an added advantage for its users. The plan is also expected to boost company sales with the help of freebie offers and monthly packs.

Interestingly, Aircel also introduced a similar plan a while back, but it failed to build a substantial user base for the plan. So, it remains to see how such "My Plan" fares for Videocon.

What do you think of "My Plan" by Videocon? Will Videocon be able to sustain in Indian telecom space with such schemes, especially when users are developing an affinity to data calls? Let us know through the comment section below.
