Tata Docomo Launches ‘My Call Me Tune’ Mobile App

My Call Me TuneTata Docomo today announced the launch of a new mobile application called ‘My Call Me Tune’ that would let  users t0 create, customize and activate their call me tune service. 

The application is presently available for Android, Blackberry and Symbian mobile phones and would soon be available for iOS platform users also.




My Call Me Tune allows users to search, preview and buy music content on the go with best in class user interface thereby ensuring smooth transition from complicated user experience and an enhanced purchase experience with ease of discovery.

My Call Me Tune also helps shift the consumer from conventional modes of promotion to self discovery. Users can set their current as well as future presence/status, on the fly, and set it as their CMT for a fixed duration.

To activate this service Tata Docomo customers need to dial 590002 or sms to 543211. On receiving the request, the system sends a downloadable link of My Call Me Tune application via SMS. Once downloaded, the application resides in the handset of subscribers and can be invoked any time to experience a user friendly storefront to browse, search and set Call Me Tunes. The charges for downloading songs would be Rs 15 for 90 days.

Users can also set their preferred language under settings option to customize and use their favourite songs. One can set a particular song for a specific caller by entering his/her mobile number while requesting a Call Me Tune. This app also helps to copy a call me tune by entering the number from which user would like to copy the song.
