TATA DoCoMo Associated with Microsoft, All set to launch Windows Mobile

After the Reliance Mobile’s approach on windows mobile solutions now TATA Docomo all set to launch the same of its GSM Mobile service.

 

TATA DOCOMO today announced that they are associated with Microsoft to launch New generation power packed Windows Mobile 6.5 smart phones with its GSM mobile service. The first key models will be launched are Acer Be Touch E101 and Acer Neo Touch S200.

 

Windows Mobile, one of  fastest selling Smart phone OS,brings new features and tools to smart phones while maintaining unrivaled flexibility, productivity and customization.

 

New features in Windows Mobile include support for rich HTML e-mail, increased functionality within Microsoft Office Outlook Mobile and Office Mobile programs, and improved security and device management for IT managers.

 

Windows Mobile 6.5 customers also get access to more than 20,000 applications, including Microsoft My Phone that allows users to access, manage and back up their personal information on their device to a password-protected Web-based service.

Windows Mobile 6.5 smart phones come preloaded with new apps like My Phone and Windows Marketplace for Mobile.

Anil Sardana, managing director, Tata Teleservices Limited stated about these new developments: “This is in keeping with the brand presence and positioning of TATA DOCOMO, which stands for being liberated and relevant.”

Ravi Venkatesan, chairman, Microsoft Corporation added: “Consumers today want to carry their world of information, applications and entertainment wherever they go. A Windows Phone seamlessly moves between work and play, providing the best of both worlds.”
