Nokia Siemens Networks Handles Data Traffic For 250 Million Subscribers in IndiaNokia Siemens Networks now carries data traffic from all 22 circles in India serving around 250 million subscribers, the highest in the country, the  intelligent mobile packet core solution has been selected by five mobile operators in India.

Recent deals with Bharti Airtel, Datacom, Idea Cellular, Tata Teleservices and Uninor have made the vendor the dominant provider of packet core solutions for GSM and 3G networks.




By deploying Nokia Siemens Networks’ packet core solution, mobile broadband subscribers of Bharti Airtel, Datacom, Idea Cellular, Tata Teleservices and Uninor enjoy better data connectivity.

The solution includes fair use policies that enable operators to deliver consistent service quality to all subscribers, irrespective of their data usage.Nokia Siemens Networks also provides managed services to many of the operator circles where it is providing its packet core solution.
