MTNL Delhi Launches Three New SMS Packs for its Prepaid Customers

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) today introduced three new SMS Packs priced at Rs.9, Rs.31 and Rs.89 for its customers in Delhi telecom circle. One being a Weekly SMS Pack comes for Rs.9 and offers 70 National & Local SMS to any network for 7 days.

The other new SMS Pack introduced is priced at Rs.31 and Rs.89 offers 300 and 1000 Local & National SMS to all networks respectively for a period of 30 days.

Apart from above new SMS Packs for prepaid customers, MTNL Delhi modified all existing SMS Packs or Combo-Recharges offering Free local/National  SMSes as below :

  • New Benefits in existing Packs : All existing SMS (either Local or STD) in subscriber account will be used for Local as well as National SMS
  • New Benefits with Trump Vidyarthi Plan : 186 SMS (106 Local + 80 National) being credited to the subscriber a/c on Vidyarthi coupon recharge can be used for Local and STD SMS.
  • SMS received in subscriber account from all sources (e.g. new activations, FRC recharge, Coupon recharge) can be used for Local and National SMS, irrespective of the type i.e. Local or National SMS.
