MTNL is not the first company to offer cheaper tariffs this festive season. Earlier this week, Vodafone India had launched "Bumper two day Diwali Flash Sale" offering up to 80% discounts on customized tariff plans based on subscriber's usage. We were however able to confirm the offer only for Delhi and NCR circle.

Do you know any other telco offering discounts on this festive season? Do let us know via comments.
