MTN Launches Commercial 5G service in Congo
MTN Congo announced that it has become the first operator in Central Africa to launch commercial 5G services, following a pilot phase that began in October 2022. The company said on its X account (formerly Twitter) that 5G will transform the daily lives of the Congolese people and represents an opportunity to boost the development and growth of businesses.

5G in Central Africa

The African operator announced the launch of its 5G network on Tuesday, calling it a "real digital revolution" that would transform the daily lives of Congolese people.
