Motorola has launched an activity sibling to its 2nd Gen Moto 360. Dubbed as Moto 360 Sport, this Android wear smartwatch is up for sale on Flipkart for Rs. 19,999.

Being an Android Wear, Moto 360 Sport can sync with your iPhone/ Android devices and bring notifications from the phone, including Gmail, Calendar invites, WhatsApp chats, traffic, weather reports, etc., meaning you can leave your phone at home while coming out for work-outs. It is one of the few smartwatches that comes with built-in GPS.

With its GPS, you can seamlessly track the distance covered, pace, lap times and more. Most of the popular Android fitness apps such as including MapMyRun, Under Armour Record, Strava, Google Fit, and Fitbit, is compatible with Moto 360 Sport. Moto Body records your workout data and syncs with these apps, so your exercise history is always up to date.

Its heart rate monitoring continuously track the heart rate during the work-outs. You can also measure the time spent in different heart rate zones. Also, a simple syncing of your favorite playlists and podcasts from Google Play Music with your Moto 360 Sport can help you listen to music with a Bluetooth, providing the fair entertainment needed during work-outs. Motorola also promises a whole day battery for its new Moto 360 Sport with its 300mAh. A wireless charging dock is also provided in the box.

Design-wise, Moto 360 Sport claims to offer a better view using its 1.37” (35mm), 263ppi (360 X 325) Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protected display of round design, and edge-to-edge glass coupled with a thin bezel. Thanks to its hybrid display, that you can see things clearly during both indoor and outdoor. Indoors, it works like any other LCD screen and outside, it reflects natural sunlight, making the screen easy to read. The silicon construction stays away from absorbing sweat and is said to resist fading or staining. Side ventilation channels prevent from heating issue.

The processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 with 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU (APQ 8026) with Adreno 305 with 450MHz GPU. There is an in-built 4GB internal storage and 512MB RAM. Dual digital mics, water and dust resistance, sensors, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi compatibility, etc. are the other notable hardware specifications. It is available in Black color variant only.
