Indian mobile device giant Micromax has launched another new tablet PC product in the country. Named as Funbook Infinity P275, the new Funbook member replaces Micormax's first Funbook*. With Infinity Micromax has launched four Android tablets. Earlier three models are Funbook, Funbook Pro are Funbook Pro.
With more popular 7 inch form factor Micromax Funbook Infinity runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and powered by 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor, 512 MB DDR3 RAM and Dual Mali 400 2D/3D Graphics processor. It can play HD videos upto 2160p resolution.
The 7 inch display is TFT WVGA LCD in nature with 800 x 480 pixels, 16.7 million colors. It is capacitive multi touch screen with pinch zoom functionality. It includes 4GB storage, and further memory expansion upto 32GB via microSD card. There are Gravity and Accelerator sensor. It is well connected via USB 2.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and external 3G dongle. There is dual speakers for richer audio experience.
From the original Funbook, it improves as it adds 2MP rear camera with 0.3 MP front camera. There is also more powerful battery - 4000 mAh (original Funbook has 2800 mAh battery).
With Android loaded, you can use tons of apps from Google Play Store. Micromax promotes every Funbook as Edutainment device, as usual Funbook Infinity is loaded with as many as study materials for UG and PG students. There are contents from McGraw Hill, Pearson,Vriti, BigFilx, Zenga, Hungama and IndiaGames preloaded on Infinity. Not only that Micromax offers two Akshay Kumar movies Rowdy Rathore and Tees Maar Khan preloaded with each and every Infinity tab.
Priced at Rs 6699 Micromax Funbook Infinity is about to hit the shelves very soon accross the country.
