After offering a free SIM with unlimited access to Jio services for 90 days, now the company is pushing updates to Jio series of apps to fix various issues. Also, in some apps they have introduced new skin. With the new update, My Jio app got a new drawer logo, from which one can download or open other Jio apps with just a few taps. As there being so many Jio apps, now it would be helpful for users to find other Jio apps.

Jio’s WiFi-based apps JioNet got minor changes in UI and bugs fixed for more stability. The Jio suite of media apps now run only when there is an active Jio Sim inserted in the smartphone or while connected to Jio wi-fi network in accordance with intranet guidelines to ensure zero rating of data consumed while streaming of content.

While after the recent update, Jio Join app now works smoothly on lower RAM phones. Jio’s streaming app Jio Broadcast & magazine app, Jio Mags has also got updated and is more stable.

As of now, Jio has 5 lakh of beta testers and intends to have more users (25 lakh) to join their network to test their all IP network and digital content.

They still can’t fix the coverage checker bug in My JIO. They should hire smarter monkeys for coding.

its not a bug. they have hided it deliberately. Now it can be accessible via or a very old version of My Jio app.

Why would they hide a useful feature which can help take load off customer care. It appears through some trickery though.

The coverage checker is not accurate. It shows jio coverage only in few places but actually its almost available everywhere.

jio coverage is still not available in very veey small towns in maharashtra…where only idea 3g found.and avoid 2g
