Vodafone Idea is very close to dipping below the 200 million mark for its active subscriber base. The loss for Vi has converted into a gain for Airtel and Jio.
Even in the wireline segment, Jio and Airtel added 0.20 and 0.13 million users while Vodafone Idea and BSNL lost 0.01 million and 0.05 million users. This trend has been continuing for years now. Vi and BSNL need to figure out a way to arrest the subscriber so that they can keep their revenues and performance in check.
