IDEA Cellular, a leading GSM mobile service operator has announced breakthrough tariff plans in the state pf Himachal Pradesh to allow its subscribers to pay per second for calls.
IDEA subscribers opting for the new ‘Super Seconds’ tariff plan will now be charged just 1 paisa for every second of the call duration.
This initiative by IDEA Cellular is set to usher in a new era of mobile phone billing, besides offering lowest call tariffs in Himachal Pradesh.
IDEA’s ‘Super Seconds’ tariff plan will offer all Local and STD calls on any network in India, at the lowest tariff of 1 paisa per second. Existing IDEA subscribers can avail the per second plan by purchasing ‘Super Seconds’ voucher for Rs. 24, whereas new subscribers can avail it for Rs. 49 only.
Mobile Subscribers in Himachal Pradesh can choose from a wide bouquet of new tariff plans being introduced by IDEA Cellular. As per another innovative tariff plan titled ‘Super Saral’, subscribers can make Local calls at just 40 paisa per minute, and STD at 60 paisa per minute on any other mobile and landline network in the country. To avail these new reduced tariff plans, existing IDEA prepaid subscribers can purchase ‘Super Saral’ for Rs. 26, and new subscribers for Rs. 48.
IDEA’s ‘Super Seconds’ and ‘Super Saral’ tariff plans will offer more flexibility and freedom of calling to all categories of users – both low and high end. The innovative tariff structure also blurs the line between STD and Local calling, and mobile and landline network
"This is yet another 'first from Idea' to offer world class and affordable telephony services to mobile consumers in the region," Anish Roy Chief Operating Officer-Idea circle for Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu said. The new tariff vouchers will be available at My Idea Showrooms and Idea Points across the state of Himachal Pradesh.
