Idea Cellular Launches New Postpaid Pack of Rs. 300 Offering 1GB of Data Per Day

Idea Cellular has come up with a new postpaid plan, which they call it as 'unparalleled offer' of Rs. 300. This plan offers 1GB data per day for a month and is available only for 4G handset users. However, this plan is different from other postpaid because you have to avail it on top of your existing postpaid plan.

"The new Idea pack can be availed by all postpaid customers on Limited rental plans of Rs. 199 and above," said Idea in a statement. The new plan of Rs. 300 is offered for free to all the postpaid customers on rental plans of Rs. 499 and above. Idea Postpaid users of base rental plans of Rs. 349 to Rs. 498 can avail the pack at a discounted rate of just Rs. 50 only.

Do make a note that the discounted price will be applicable only for the first three months of subscription. You can get a clear cut of the plans by looking the image below. That said, the new pack is available for subscription until April 30, 2017, with a massive discount of up to Rs. 300 for the first three months of subscription.

Speaking about the offer, Mr Sashi Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer, Idea Cellular said, “This is a first of its kind offer with such a huge benefit to a broad base of postpaid customers in India. The package has been designed to catalyse data usage amongst existing clients and to attract more postpaid customers to the Idea network.”

Idea Cellular recently merged with Vodafone India and today morning; the former has confirmed that they will be rivals with each other till the merger happens. So, expect more affordable and attractive plans from both Vodafone and Idea Cellular in coming days to stay in the market.
