Rules for Changing Username for Google Account (Gmail, Photos and Drive)
There are two things that you need to remember when you are thinking of changing your Google Account:
- Your old username will still be available. It will become an alias. You will still be able to sign-in and send and receive emails with both usernames. Plus, you can also revert to your old username.
- You can choose a new username once a year, and you can do that a total of up to three times only.
Note that this feature will first be available for the Google US users. However, it will be available for more users across the globe in the near future.
