Over last weekend several TelecomTALK readers alerted us about an SMS from Airtel that stated 3G on roaming in ICR circles would be charged at 0.5p/10 KB. DoT to move Supreme Court against 3G intra-circle roaming, will this bring an end to 3G ICRA ?

Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has now decided to move the Supreme Court against 3G intra-circle roaming (ICR) agreement between operators. DoT had earlier banned 3G intra-circle roaming, saying they enabled the companies to offer 3G services without buying spectrum.
