Bharti Airtel is currently providing five data add-ons to its prepaid subscribers in the country. The prices of these data add-ons are Rs 28, Rs 48, Rs 92, Rs 98 and Rs 175. Earlier, the telco used to offer only four data add-ons to the subscribers, which has now been changed to five. However, the difference between the Rs 98 and Rs 175 data add-on packs for prepaid users is very minimal. The Rs 98 data add-on pack used to offer 6GB of data benefit with 28 days validity; While it continues to offer the same data benefit, Airtel has added SMS benefit to the plan. The Rs 175 prepaid data add-on pack makes no sense from the company as it provides the same 6GB data benefit as Rs 98 pack.

Airtel Prepaid Data Pack of Rs 28

This data pack is the cheapest option available in the Airtel portfolio right now, which offers only data. On buying the Rs 28 data pack for their Airtel number, the subscribers will get access to 500MB of data with a validity of 28 days. As you can see, this plan would be appropriate for someone using a feature phone or for someone who rarely uses data during the entire month and doesn’t really turn on their mobile data. There's also a Rs 29 data pack which offers 20MB extra data benefit compared to Rs 28 plan at 520MB and the same validity of 28 days.

Airtel Prepaid Data Pack of Rs 48

The Rs 48 prepaid data pack by Airtel offers a better deal to the subscribers by shipping 3GB data with a marginal increment in price. The Rs 48 prepaid plan comes with a validity of 28 days as well similar to the prepaid data pack of Rs 28. This plan would be appropriate for the users who use slightly more data to browse the internet a couple of times in a month.

Airtel Prepaid Data Pack of Rs 92

The Rs 92 data prepaid pack is a different kind of offering altogether as it ships 6GB data, and it does so with a validity period of 7 days. This data prepaid pack is more suited for users with heavier data usage. The subscribers will be able to use if they feel that they are required to use a little more than their usual data FUP limit for a certain time. The 6GB data limit would also be able to fit in video views, social media usage and other browsing related work.

Airtel Prepaid Data Pack of Rs 98

This is the second-highest plan available in the Airtel portfolio offering only data. The plan offers 6GB data, but the only difference is that it comes with 28 days of validity. This again would be suited to users who would like to have extra data lying around in their account, just in case they run out of their FUP limit at some point in the month. The Rs 98 pack has now been modified to offer 10 SMSes for the validity period of 28 days.

Airtel Prepaid Data Pack of Rs 175

In other news, Bharti Airtel has introduced a new data add-on pack of Rs 175 providing benefits of 6GB data for a period of 28 days. Yes, the Rs 175 data pack also comes with just 6GB data benefit and the validity is also similar at 28 days.
