
Bharti Airtel, the second-largest telecom operator in India, is offering customers a Google One subscription with the home broadband connections. The homes business of Airtel now has both fiber and airfiber. The Google One subscription is meant to be a value add-on for customers which gives them access to cloud storage. Google's Basic subscription costs Rs 130 per month and offers 100GB of cloud storage to the users. There's also a Lite subscription which comes with 30GB of additional data, and costs Rs 59 only per month.

Airtel is currently offering the Google One subscription with every broadband plan. This Google One subscription comes only for six months. Note that this will be a trial offer only, and won't extend beyond six months. This benefit is only available in a postpaid Wi-Fi construct. Prepaid Wi-Fi users won't get this benefit.
The Google One subscription can be purchased separately also. After six months, at least that is what the users will have to do eventually. This offer is applicable for both the old and new customers of the telco. What's cool about Airtel is that it is bundling this offer for every customer, even with the base plan of Rs 499 per month.

The Rs 599 AirFiber plan is available in select areas, and it will offer 30 Mbps speed to the customers. Airtel's home broadband services are expanding quickly throughout the nation and will come to more areas in the coming quarters and years. In Q2 FY26, Airtel said that it added more than a million home broadband customers. This is a big number and a record for the telco. Airtel is iincreasing the speed of deploying home passes, and that will help the telco in fastening the customer additions in the near future.
