As we reported yesterday, Airtel’s 3G services are live in non 3G circles through ICRA. We noted that the circle specific 3G tariffs cost 40% more than 3G circles for prepaid customers. The postpaid customers are a little luckier as the tariffs are comparable to 3G circle tariffs. 1 GB data will cost Rs. 250 (for prepaid it costs Rs. 348) but 2 GB data will cost Rs. 50 more (Rs. 500 vs. Rs. 450 - 11%).
