Aircel Indias Fifth largest service provider has rolled out its GSM service in Bangalore adding Karnataka as its 12th circle on the Company’s Pan India operation.
Aircel COO Gurdeep Singh said We will be introducing products and services uniquely tailored to meet the special needs of our Bangalore consumers. There is an inbuilt reduction in tariff on all local calls after the first minute to 50 p for all subsequent minutes. The Bangalore launch augments the next phase of our pan- India roll-out.
Aircel is also offering ISD calls at Rs 5.99 per minute to Gulf countries and calls to US and Canada can be made at Rs3.99 per minute and STD calls to Kerala and TamilNadu within aircel network can be made at Rs 1 per minute.In coming days Aircel is also expected to launch localized search from wap portal which would work on any GPRS handset.
