Aircel to Launch iPhone 5 in India

Aircel the fast growing Pan India telecom operator in the country in a latest move has now chosen to offer iPhone 5 which will be launch on 2nd November, 2012 in India.




According to our sources, Aircel will offer Factory Un-locked iPhone 5 priced 16GB model at Rs.45500, while the 32GB and 64GB versions will be available for Rs 52500 and Rs. 59500, respectively.The prices may vary in some States due to differential VAT if any.

The Nano SIM cards which is currently being used exclusively in the Apple iPhone 5 are also ready with Aircel and will be available commercially with the launch of iPhone 5 across (with 3G Data offer in 13 circles) all circles in India. However the launch date and prices of iPhone 5 hasn't been officially confirmed by the operator but aircel listed iPhone 5 on their website as 'Coming Soon'.

Aircel will provide customers with a range of dedicated and flexible service plans for both post-paid and pre-paid mobile customers wherein aircel customer will have the opportunity to recover their upfront iPhone cost in monthly credits on their service plan over a certain period. 

Aircel is a Pan India operator with a presence across 23 circles. Aircel won 3G spectrum in 13 circles and BWA spectrum (4G) in 8 circles. Aircel has successfully launched 3G services in 13 circles across India, the fastest 3G roll out ever in the Indian Telecom Space.
