OnePlus Buds Pro 3 Review: Design
The first thing that took me by surprise about this product is its design. For the first two hours, I was in confusion about whether I would like it or not. The charging case is very different from what you saw with the previous generation Buds Pro TWS or the Buds 3 which launched earlier this year.
However, now not only do I like this design, but also appreciate it more. This is because of a few reasons. Firstly, it is extremely light and handy to hold. Second, you can flip open the case with a single hand. This wasn’t easy to do with the previous gen Buds Pro. So there is definitely an improvement in the design component.
The earbuds are also pretty cool in design. The chrome finish now extends to the top of the stem, but that’s still ok. The earbuds are again designed carefully to accommodate all the features for changing music, noise cancellation mode, and reducing/increasing volume by pinching and squeezing.
These TWS fit inside my ear really well. There are different ear tips for better fit inside the box in case you need them.
The case has a Type-C port at the bottom for charging. Let’s jump to the performance directly.
OnePlus Buds Pro 3 Review: Performance
First of all, let me get some of the specifications of the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 out of the way. The Buds Pro 3 has 11mm woofer, 6mm tweeter, dual DACS, BES2700ZP DAC chipset, Dynaudio tuning, and Hi-Res Audio (LHDC 5.0) support.
There is a Golden Sound feature in the settings that is similar to what you saw with the Buds Pro 2. This allows you to create a custom sound experience suited best for your ears.
The sound quality sounds more balanced compared to the Buds Pro 2. Don’t get me wrong, the Buds Pro 2 isn’t bad, the Buds Pro 3 is just better. The bass especially feels more balanced, and clear. The higher frequencies seem to be more pronounced.

There are many improvements with the Buds Pro 3. The ANC is also pretty good. ANC supported is now up to 50db. You can change between the equaliser settings that Dynaudio has created, or just create a custom mode for yourself.
One of the great things about the Buds Pro 3 is the three mic-system. It records audio much better (it is more crisp and clear, and the gains compared to the Buds Pro 2 are fairly noticeable as noise reduction works in full flow).
The Buds Pro 3 case has a 466mAh battery while the buds have a 58mAh battery. You can get 10 hours of playback with these buds with ANC off. But the best thing is that there’s fast-charging support here.
Google Fast Pair mode and fast switching is just a great addition, which to be fair, was also in the previous generation earbuds.
Look there are plenty of more features about these earbuds that we want to share with you. But for that, you will have to head to your YouTube channel. The link for that is mentioned above.
