The reason for the price hike is unknown at the moment, but we assume that it could be the recent changes in the tax structure by the Indian government. The price hike will also be effective across the Mi Home stores in India.

The Mi Power Bank 2i lineup consists of two power banks with 10000mAh and 20000mAh capacity. Initially, both the variants were limited to Mi.com and Mi Home stores, but later on, Xiaomi made them available on Flipkart and Amazon India as well. Xiaomi is currently selling the power banks across offline stores such as Big Bazar, Vijay Sales etc.

During the launch event last year, Xiaomi said that its new manufacturing plant is capable of producing seven power banks per minute.
