Reliance Communications launches ‘Net Buddies’ referral program, offers free data to referrals and referrers

Reliance Communications has launched the Net Buddies referral program for its subscribers. Under the offer, Reliance customers who refer their non-Reliance friends will receive benefits in the form of free internet data.

Reliance is giving away 500MB of data and unlimited WhatsApp data for 30 days for each new referral joining its network.

While the customers joining Reliance network through the referral will get benefits of 25 percent extra data on all recharges and free unlimited WhatsApp data for 6 months. Reliance customers can refer a friend by dialling 53030300 toll-free number and enter their friends' non-reliance number to refer him.

Once a friend is referred, they have to join Reliance network within 45 days in order to receive the above mentioned benefits. The benefits will be credited to both users' accounts within 72 hours of joining Reliance's network. A Reliance subscriber can receive up to 5GB free data per month by referring buddies and up to 100 buddies can be referred by each subscriber.

Reliance Communications' new strategy is to attract more customers to its network through Mobile Number Portability from other networks. So, they are offering free benefit to existing customers for referring their friends to join Reliance.
