Idea Cellular, the country's third largest telco by subscribers, has entered into a platform and content deal with ErosNow to support its recently launched high-speed 4G LTE services.
The strategic partnership offers Idea’s 4G subscribers access to ErosNow’s premium bundled services including movies, music, TV content, ErosNow originals and much more. ErosNow is a digital over-the-top distribution service of Eros International.
Idea recently launched 4G services across five southern states of India, with plans to expand to 750 towns in 10 service areas, by June 2016. The telco's 4G customers in these markets, through this content partnership, will be able to enjoy rich premium content from a wide library of movies, originals and short form videos, at a monthly subscription price of just Rs 49.
Idea is also offering a special subscription offer at just Rs 29 per month for its new 4G customers till March 31, 2016.

Idea, which is strengthening its 4G portfolio and digital presence through an assortment of digital content in partnership with leading content aggregators, handset manufacturers and e-commerce retailers, currently has over 170 million mobile subscribers throughout India.
