Interestingly, it is a standalone application rather than being a part of ICICI’s banking app, “iMobile”, and can be downloaded from Google Play. As per ICICI Bank, the app enables users to check their account balance, last three transactions made, credit card balance and also recharge their prepaid mobile.

In order to use the app, users are needed to install the iWear on their paired Android smartphone and then they’ll be required to enter the bank account details and after entering all these pre-requisites the application will automatically appear on their smart gear.

Rajiv Sabharwal, Executive Director, ICICI Bank, said, “We are among the few players globally that will allow transactions through this application on both Apple and Android platforms. On Android, prepaid mobile recharge can be done, while on Apple devices, there is the facility of personal offers, bill payments, recharge and locator for branch and ATM apart from ability to view balance,” he said.
