Recently, WhatsApp added support for desktop client for its popular messenger app, albeit only supporting Google's Chrome web browser. The company has now added support for Firefox and Opera web browsers.
WhatsApp's desktop client merely mirrors your conversations from your mobile handset to your web browser. In order to do that, it requires users to scan a QR code on your computer from your mobile device. Users are required to keep their handsets connected to an internet connection in order to use the WhatsApp web client.
Just head to web.whatsapp.com on your Chrome, Opera, or Firefox web browser to access the service. On mobile devices, WhatsApp is available for iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, Windows Phone, among others.
The web client has been a great addition for small businesses who rely on WhatsApp for taking orders or communication. If you are using the web client of WhatsApp for your business, do let us know via comments how it helps you.
