Vodafone Will Launch 3G Services By March End

India’s 2nd largest GSM Mobile Service operator Vodafone Essar which acquired 3G spectrum in 10 circles – Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh (E) and West Bengal today said that it will roll-out 3G Mobile and Data services in a phased manner by the end of March 2011.

According to the statement by Vodafone, The operator will launch 3G Mobile and Data services in end of this fiscal year (end of March 2011).

“We have a 3G-ready network, currently in optimisation which we will be launching very quickly. Our approach is to give our customers a world class experience, we will launch 3G service a city-wise basis and not pan-India or circle-wise. Presently, trials of 3G service are on and the service is expected to be launched in a phased manner by March” said  Naveen Chopra, Vodafone Essar Director (Enterprise and Carrier Business).

Sir, Vodafone announce 10 month ago we start 3G within 2 days & I purchase your USB modem from your retailer.But after 10 month why U start 3G service? What can I do with UR modem?When U start the service?

PERSONALLY I HATE VODAFONE TOTALLY WASTE TARIFF NOT A CUSTOMER FRIENDLY ….. Am sure….. i ported my old HUTCH(vodafone) to IDEA

Only BSNL is better giving useful things good gprs speed,roaming connectivity, cell info, free sms in roaming, unique tariff in roaming and home network (incoming in sec pulse as well as 49p in minute plan),free missed call alert . only minus point in bsnl is congested network.. once network hang then nearly one week take to become normal mode . useless CC also. OTHERWISE CUSTOMER FRIENDLY NETWORK…

PLEASE CHECK SPEED TEST FOR RELIANCE SMART WITH 2G SIM AND 2G DATA PLAN WITH MICROMAX DATA CARD 350G IN KOLKATA………..THIS IS THE AVERAGE SPEED WHAT I GET …IT GOES TO upto 3.1 Mbps….really shocking……..

Docomo only ads Uninor only discount percentage

Same here in Maharashtra circle also.. BSNL gives Cell info of Area name all the time.. Vodafone And Idea Sometime Area info and some time ads in rotating manner.. But Aircel,Airtel,Docomo previously providing area info but now continuous ads only.. Uninor only Discount % and reliance since launch only ads..
