Vodafone Launches 3G Android Smartphone ‘Vodafone Smart’ For Rs.4995

Vodafone today announced the launch of ‘Vodafone Smart’- the new low cost own branded "3G Android phone", for all its Postpaid and Prepaid customers in India.

After the IDEA cellular, Vodafone is the 2nd 3G mobile service provider who launches own branded 3G smartphone in Indian market.




Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor and Google's Android 2.2.1 OS, ‘Vodafone Smart’ is designed for tech savvy customers providing them access to exciting mobile apps, games, internet and social networking platforms on-the-go.

Attractively priced at Rs.4995, Vodafone Smart will enable customers to enjoy hundreds of thousands of Android applications on a high quality 3G Android handset with two years of warranty. Vodafone subscribers will also enjoy a special introductory limited period offer of Double Data Benefit on their 3G subscription till 31st December 2011.

‘Vodafone Smart’ comes with built-in features like 2.8 inch capacitive touch display, 528 MHz ARM 11 CPU, 2 mega pixel camera with Geo-tagging, WiFi, Video recording and MP4/3GP playback, up to 32GB expandable Memory (2GB card Free), Stereo FM and MP3.
