It’ll be useful for people who move out of their native & work in some other cities, and in all cities FM channels are available only in the Local Language or Hindi.. So if I’m from TN I can enjoy Tamil songs even when I’m in UP or Bihar..
Moreover, FM stations cover only main cities… If available on mobile anyone can listen to FM anywhere…
Instead of charging the users, the operators can make tie up with FM stations, so that, users can listen to the FM with ADs (as usual)… Since there will be more listeners for the FM channel, they can get more ADs, and the mobile operator & FM station can share this revenue…

Why we go for mobile radio. In the real world most of the mobile user has in-built radio player. Of course it comes with advertisement. But free service is better.
