STel Mobile Introduces Student Pack in 4 Circles

S Tel, the GSM mobile services of Shiva Group and Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco) introduces a new prepaid plan for dubbed as “Students Pack” its customers in Bihar, Orissa, Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand.

One of new entrants last year, S Tel continues to offer cheaper tariff to its customers. The new prepaid pack is dubbed as ’Student Pack’ and priced at Rs 147 in Orissa, Bihar-Jharkhand telecom circles, while Rs 148 for its prepaid customers in Himachal Pradesh circle.

You need to buy the SUK first which is priced Rs 25. Then you can recharge your S Tel prepaid account with Student pack, which will offer local STel-to-STel calls at just 1 paisa per minute; local calls to other network at 1 paisa/2 seconds; local onnet SMS will be charged for 1 paisa/SMS, SMS to other local networks is just 10 paisa, National SMS is also 10 paisa. The offer is valid for a period 30 days after activation.

STEL has licence in 6 circles to provide 2G services, and 3 circles to offer 3G services. In J&K I have doubt they can start 2G services in near future. But the 3 circles (Bihar-Jharkandh, Orissa, HP) they have 3G spectrum in, are small circles. STEl if provide 3G services in 15 cities in each circle – it will be great for these circles.

I’m sure STel will provide the cheapest possible 3G Services as it has paid just few hundred crores for 3G license in just 3 C- category circles including Odisha.

WHATEVER BENEFIT S-TEL IS GIVING TO ORISSA CUSTOMERS IS THE BEST.TODAY I TALKED TO THE ORISSA CUSTOMER CARE @ 09132012345.I FOUND S-TEL IS GIVING FOR FIRST 30 DAYS 10,OOO LOCAL S-TEL TO S-TEL MINUTES AND 10,000 LOCAL AND STD OFF-NET(FOR OTHER NETWORKS) MINUTES @ FRC88 AND 49SUK.THAT IS REALLY EXCELLENT.I WANT S-TEL SHOULD LAUNCH ITS NETWORK ALSO IN WEST BENGAL WITH SAME FACILITIES.BUT THAT STUDENTS’PACK IS REALLY GHATIA.NO ONE OF THE STUDENTS CAN AFFORD RS.147 TO AVAIL THIS PACK.

bahut hi ghatiya plan hai, bhala koi student kyon itna mahanga tarif plan lega wo bhi one month ke liye wo bhi apna mobile no. naya badal kar, main samajhta hoon ki iska koi faida nahi hai koi s-tel ki taraf moov nahi karega. usse better air cel nahi lega yaa smart. agar ye plan one year yaa more than one year ke liye rahta to koi soachta bhi. ye bewakoof banane wala plan hai…..
ek dum se ghatiya plan…FLOP PLAN naam rakh do iska….

Its best in first month for student but after the month stel may think student will not student and your tariff as normal. So its not a good plan.

hai par other par to 1paise/2 secend hai or uskle 87 extra le rahi hai company jabki other company 30 se 45 rs lati hai. Mari samajh se costly hai
