OlivePad VT100 Android Tablet Now Available With Froyo

Riding high on innovation, Olive Telecom, India’s leading Convergence Solutions Device Developer, today announced that OlivePad - VT100, India’s first 3.5G Pad which was launched back in July, is now available with the Andrid 2.2 Froyo version at its newly launched online stores.

Designed as a multi functional device, Olive Pad comes at Rs 25990, operates on an Android Operating System and supports 3.5G HSUPA, Wi-fi, and Bluetooth.




With an inbuilt three mega pixel camera and a front camera, the Olive Pad can be used as a touch notebook allowing browsing, Multimedia, Instant Messaging and easy access to the world of social networking, GPS for maps and turn by turn directions, gaming console, an e- book reader, Television and it is also a Smart Phone allowing voice and Video Calling.

Mr. Arun K Khanna, Chairman, Olive Telecommunications said "We were ready to release the product running Android 2.1, but decided it would be better to give the consumer an up-to-date product, rather than having them running around trying to get updates later."
