I have recharged for Rs.1499 /- for 3 months validity on 9.3.13 and I was out of town for couple of weeks. So I did not learn about the closure of their service. Suddly since last week I am not getting their service and they have also closed the customer service lines. Also my email to the customer service is unanswered. Now I could use it only for one month and how can I get the refund of the validity left. To whom should I write. I have one more MTS number that data card is used my wife, which I had charged in February and over one month validity is left in that data card too. So please advise me how to get the refund in this case. As never download anything always I am using the 90 days of validity in full. So Please advise what to do to get my refund.

i have a ZTE:AC2746 I WANT TO UNLOCK IT .AM IN GOA.PLEASE WHERE CAN I GET IT UNLOCKED. CAN IT BE UNLOCKED AND USED AFTER MTS STOPS SERVICE OR BEFORE
HOW CAN I DO WHAT YOU DID PLEASE SEND INFO BY EMAIL WILL BE GRATEFUL
After MTS shutting its operations in Mumbai MBlaze data cards will become a totally useless gadget, since the data card number is fed on its internal chip and the sim slot is locked preventing the use of other CDMA sim cards. I got my MBlaze ZTE AC2766 unlocked remotely sitting at home for Rs.200 without having to take it to the dealer. Not only that I have tweaked its dialer software such that I can even make and receive voice calls and send and receive SMS through the data card using Reliance or Docomo CDMA sim card. Reliance is offering 6GB EVDO Rev.A (3.1 Mbps) data with 6 month validity for just Rs.94, so its best to get the data card unlocked and use it with Reliance CDMA OMH sim, recharge with Rs.94 and request customer care to activate EVDO.

why there is not MNP for datacards?
govt should force in this case that all the cards can get the same number and can port for RIL / TATA /BSNL or any other for internet .

Esmail , I have a mts data card , huawei model ac – ec122 can this be unlocked
Esmail March 13, 2013 at 6:30 pm
CDMA unlocking especially data card unlocking is very uncommon in India and there are limited options compared to GSM unlocking. Since I don’t do the unlocking myself I don’t know if your Huawei model is capable for being unlocked, you would need to ask the person who does it professionally, I can at the most provide you the contact of the person from whom I got it done for my ZTE modem.

Reliance and Vodafone are sending emails and SMS’s to MTS subscribers in regions where they are shutting down, saying they will offer free data cards in exchange for their Mblaze dongles. Visit the nearest Reliance gallery for details.

Can you point me where i can unlock the data card? or how to unlock the data card?
AD March 13, 2013 at 11:30 am
If there is No SIM slot, how can you use Reliane OHM-SIM ? It seems to be fake.
Esmail March 13, 2013 at 4:23 pm
Dude get your hands on a mts zte ac2766 data card, open its cover and have a look at its interior, you will see a SIM card slot. Mts has locked this slot because it does not want its customers to be able to use other CDMA SIM cards in its dongle.
AD March 13, 2013 at 4:52 pm
If empty slot is there, how can it operate with MTS N/W?
Are all datacards are such type?
Esmail March 13, 2013 at 6:14 pm
CDMA is a technology in which the devices can be programmed to either have the MDN number coded directly on the internal chip in which case it can operate without sim cards (If you remember the old Reliance and TATA CDMA handsets which were not sim based) or you can have them similar to the GSM type where you have the OMH handsets like Samsung Galaxy Y CDMA which will work with any operator’s CDMA OMH sim card. Now MTS dongles manufactured by ZTE and Huawei have the capacity to work like dual sim mobiles, once its unlocked it will give preference to the sim card, meaning if you insert a sim in the slot the modem will use the sim’s network to access the net (Ofcourse you will have to configure the username and password as per the network provider) and if there is no sim inserted in the slot then the modem will use the default MTS network to access the net. The rules of this blog prevent me from sharing contact details, otherwise I would give you the contact of a person who can remotely unlock your modem for you over the net using a software tool. Contact the the site administrator Tarun and ask for my email id, he might give it to you. write to me for further help.
