During Oct-Nov this year I was getting 7.2 Mbps in Punjab(roaming on BSNL) on MTNL Delhi “1650 unlimited” plan.
Data was capped to 200 GB as said before.I always (and still) get actual 7.2 Mbps since Dec ’11 in Punjab on MTNL-Delhi SIM. Although for few months in ’12 speed was capped to 3.1 Mbps but ’twas for BSNL too then.

Earlier the Rs.4500 Half yearly plan was also Truly unlimited, now they have brought back the Rs.1650 monthly plan to unlimited they should do the same for the half yearly plan as well to make it affordable.

When are MTNL Mumbai launching 3G at 2G rates? Even BSNL has launched it long time ago. I am planning to shift from MTNL to RCOM next week using MNP because of unaffordable 3G rates by MTNL.

    • Aslam Khan December 13, 2013 6:53 pm

Aslam, Reliance 3G is not available in all circle as MTNL providing its home and roam everywhere with BSNL in india.
If your pocket not allowing you to use mtnl 3g thatn who is stopping you to port out from MTNL ? Go and port out today.

Coincidence or Replying to self ? ;)

  • IMbest December 13, 2013 6:38 pm

Why Not Bsnl 3G doesnt have such plans….
The Small Cities Sucks Always…While The Most need of speed and bandwidth needed for Small Cities…
Absense of Small ISP’s and Private ISP lead to this…I think so
From Few Days RJIL Laying Down Fibre Otic Cable in Solapur…Hope to hear good news in future till then just zzzzzzzzzzzz

You want to buy a mtnl 3g connection using your hyderabad proof of address. Right?

No, you must mention your local proof of residence in mumbai. Your id would work for sure.

    • Arif December 13, 2013 9:19 pm

May be possible, enquire at MTNL exchange. If possible, then you have to provide local reference.
