Using bsnl no for last 5 years, and also using net for last 3 or 4 years. Now when recharging top up of rs 125 (3g package) for net, the voucher was not acceptable.

I am using 3G for over two years and my usage is disturbed by lack of proper information regarding the recharge vouchers and mainly their validity. Hope BSNL will one day offer us, prepaid customers to use G as per our needs and above all pay only for what we use.
I will really appreciate if BSNL revoves the Validity restriction.

The cash-strapped BSNL has three lakh employees and is looking at getting about one lakh people off its payroll in a bid to cut down costs. By contrast, one its private counterparts Bharti Airtel has just about 23,000 employees.

Iam port in to BSNL 62 days back. To much strugle with their network. Many call drops, alway network busy.
DND activate on my mobile 40 days back. Now i want to deactivate, but it is imposible. Am calling to CC they told that u must wait 90 days to change preference. But TRAI said that wait only 7days
that is BSNL. That is our GOVT serviece.
Now iam taking new AIRTEL sim, waiting to completion of 90 days to port my BSNL to AIRTEL

Send msg ‘stop dnd’ to 1909 and you will receive the response.
90 days time frame is true and 7 days will take if you exit from DND after 90 days of your DND activation.
If you want to port out to any network just buy a new sim, check the network and other of that operator and then port your main no. to that operator.

But in new airtel DND wil be activated at 15 back. From 27th not get any msgs. So send “STOP 0? to 1909. From yesterday onwards i get msgs. But in BSNL not deactivated.

I was also trying to deactivate my dnd service on my Bsnl number. But everytime when i send message to 1909 it replys 90days not completed yet. But its already more than 9 months. You can check your activation date & URN Number by sending STATUS to 1909.

Yes, bsnl has improved a lot after 3g launch…people who were avoiding bsnl 2g services started using bsnl…i found that people who are using dual sim mobile they are using bsnl service with idea or vodafone…after idea and vodafone, bsnl is having largest coverage for 2g and still now no.1 in 3g coverage…bsnl only need proper use of marketing mix for their services…

Well said , i too use bsnl & idea b’coz of their coverage

Please help me understand this.. What happens if I don’t have a data plan, that is I am a pay as you go customer paying for my data usage with normal tariff and I recharge with say this 350 Rs. top up??

As far as I know,ou can use Data Top-up only if you have validity of data a/c i.e.if you have earlier recharged with a data voucher but balance is depleted yet validity still exists.

you cannot say this is not good.. considering private operator’s plans BSNL is giving you better options. And hope BSNL comes up with a reversal decision on reducing validity of 3G data plans..

u must switch over to cheater pvt.operator. Ok?

I am with Airtel which is the best and with best call rate, best home and roam network.
    BSNL is useless.
Go and check airtel is providing 3G at cheaper rate than BSNL though airtel has no 3G licence.
