    Raghu Thanks for your reply you just drop me a mail to firstonnet@yahoo.co.in. Require exact location with other operators name.Pl mention the building name, address & operators name so that your areas no network issue would be close in a month. If you know the WTTIL cellsite location in your area then sharing formalities would be completed in 15days & you will get improved network in 20days.

    Yes Raghu you are right but pvt ops are never abolish roaming charges to their respective subscribers, only BSNL dare to offer such positive offers.

    Thanks to pvt operators like IDEA,TATA who offers i/c calls ay 1p/sec,mtnl still charges 1re while roaming..not to forget VF,Airtel who hae got their ticket plan which offers i/c calls at 70ps.min for PPM customers&1.5p/s for PPS customers which isnt good…

    nice to see that now many of them are opposing MTNL Mumbai’s high roaming charges of Rs.1.50/min… otherwise myself and PD were only commenting on this roaming issue..
    But still one question remaining that if MTNL Delhi can giving roaming incoming calls & outgoing calls also at Rs.0.70/min then why MTNL Mumbai can’t give then??

    If you verify you will find partiality among two PSU Co. BSNL Mh Goa & MTNL.
    If you are MTNL GSM subs & in roaming in BSNL Mh circle your calls to mtnl number will never connect reasons are network busy, connection error etc bt same time if you dial other ops local, Mumbai operator’s number it will connected in 1st attempt. Its happened with me when I was in Pune Saswad area, network was superb. Same has been forwarded to MTNL & BSNL roaming team for further action but all in vain. They are not interested to offer seamless connectivity to MTNL subs because call rates are low.

Badly affected operators are Idea, Airtel, Vodafone & Uninor, same sites are shared by BSNL too but they covered these areas via other cellsites & improved outdoor & indoor network coverage but all 4 operators are not able to improve the signals of this area. BSNL operating highest 2G & 3G cellsites in Goa state compare to any pvt ops. Total 85 cellsites are offered on rental basis by BSNL to pvt ops except one to one sharing. Want to say that trying to break our unity? Goans are famous for well cultured, calm, live to peacefully but such negative actions creating bad image in the world. Why they injured to poor security guard who was obey his duty? who was getting salary for this legal job. Really these commuters are hazardous to Goan people instead of cellsite radiation. I also heard that commuters entered in the BTS shelter & started to damage the precious equipment of all operators, guard was just try to stop that things which was concered to high electric voltage but other gunda public started to beat him who was trying to save them from Electric high voltage shock.

    As per the info reced from Idea area manager that this site is not going to live anyhow, they tried their level best to live it soon but no one support from Politicians, Ruling party Congress(I) not interested to go against residents, BJP also refuse to help them out.

    See Altaf it’s just comparison for you that’s all, going or not going are different things. I want to clarify to all our TT readers that BSNL always offer best than ever to his subscribers, who have BSNL, TD, RGSM etc SIM & using pvt ops service for sms only will stop after reading this distinguish. 1p sms look very affordable but rent & number of sms clarify that it’s very costly than this plan. Pvt ops are very clever to make us fool & loot our money.
    If you recheck it’s not look 20bucks it’s more than your thinking
    VDOCON = 96-53= Rs 43 + 4000sms
    Uninor = 68-53= Rs 15 + 4000sms.
    TDocomo= 112-53= Rs 59 + 4000sms
    RGSM = 138-53= Rs 85 + 4000sms Now tell me where you find +/- 20bucks?

    Thanks for the info but if we take minimum 100sms /day then
    Videocon 1p/sms for 100 Re 1X30= 30+18= 48 for 1month X2month = 96 & 6000sms
    Uninor 34X2moths = Rs. 68 for 6000sms.
    TD 26+30days =56 x2mths = 112 very costly only 6000sms
    TI not interested
    RGSM= Rs. 39+Rs 30 = 69 X 2 months 138 very very costly only 6000sms & BSNL offer Rs. 58 validity 2months with 10000sms What you will choose? Let me know your opinion. PSU always affrdable than these pvt ops. without any hidden charges, no false deduction.

    So basically u mean for saving some 20 bucks u will get a SIM to use in roaming and regarding that 10000 sms thing after the new NDNC rules comes in effect every sms pack will be limited to 100 sms/day. Regarding false activation always activate DND on your number and see the effect!
    I use all operators no false activation, instant sms delivery!
