Beetel today launched a new Android 2.2 Froyo powered 3G Tablet “Magiq Glide” in Indian market for Rs.11999. The new tablet has capacitive touch screen and attractive design.
The Magiq Glide with SIM calling feature (GSM / 3G) has a 7.0” WVGA screen, 2 MP front and rear camera and 8GB internal memory which is expandable to 16 GB. The device which has a 2200 mAh battery for long battery life supports WiFi and 3G.

feature wise Aakash tablet (with Android 2.3) is good but lack of front camera it is useless to make a video call.

Aakash tablet already started selling. price tag 2500rs. configuration Arm11 – 366Mhz, 2100 mAh battery, Android 2.2 OS with only WiFi..

Capacitive is more responsive and also support for multi-touch features where as resistive touch supports for only single touch input. In general it used to reduce the cost.

Good specs and agree with Pratik that Android 2.3 could have been better. Hope upgrade gets available in future. Wait for the reviews. Only then consider to buy as it’s time for me to tab.
