Xiaomi India Teases Another 48MP Rear Camera Phone Launch

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro in February, and everyone knew that this series from Xiaomi was one of its most significant releases of 2019. The phones debuted with a mid-range price tag and promised everything that the user could hope for, from a stunning design to performance and even a stellar camera. And, now it seems that Xiaomi has really left its mark with these phones as now we’ve come to know that the Redmi Note 7 series has surpassed two million sales in merely two months of its launch. On this occasion, the Chinese company also confirmed that it'll be bringing a new 48MP camera phone to India very soon and it could be the Mi A3 or the upcoming Redmi K20.




Xiaomi Crosses 2 Million Sales of Redmi Note 7 Series

In its latest release, Xiaomi has shared that in just two months of its launch, the Redmi Note 7 series of smartphones which consists of the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro has attained the milestone figure of 2 million. With this, Xiaomi has also noted that it will continue to ramp up the supply of both of these phones to ensure that the Mi fans and the consumers continue to gain easy access to these devices. In a new hint for the Mi fans, Xiaomi has also noted that “With this amazing milestone achievement, we are also excited to reveal an all-new 48MP 2.0 version coming soon for our Mi Fans in India.”

Redmi Note 7 Pro Specs and Pricing

The Redmi Note 7 Pro starts retailing with a price tag of Rs 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB version, whereas it bears a price tag of Rs 16,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant. Under the hood, the phone packs the Snapdragon 675 SoC. The phone is also a good looking one as it sports an all-glass body which comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. On the camera and imaging front, the Redmi Note 7 Pro fares as one of the best camera phones in this segment owing to its 48MP sensor on the rear and the 13MP sensor on the front. As for the software, the phone boots Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.

Redmi Note 7 Specs and Pricing

The Redmi Note 7 also similar to the Pro variant comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 AIE SoC paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. As for camera and imaging, Redmi Note 7 includes 12MP + 5MP camera configuration and a 13MP camera on the front. This device by Xiaomi retail in two variants – 3GB/32GB for Rs 9,999 and 4GB/64GB for Rs 11,999.
