The new CX Sport headphones by Sennheiser will come with the capability to connect with two devices simultaneously and will also ensure that there is no latency so that the video on the screen matches the audio while watching movies and videos. To make this possible, the CX Sport headphones will use Bluetooth 4.2 and Qualcomm apt-X support. Besides that, the headphones will come with a wire joining the two ends with a wire organiser for adjusting the length and an optional clip. Because of the cable joining the two earpieces, the CX Sport can’t really be called as true wireless headphones. There are also going to be three buttons in line which can be used for volume and call control.

For extensive noise cancellation, Sennheiser will offer three fin sizes and four different sizes of ear adapters so that users will be able to enjoy an immersive audio experience truly. As per Sennheiser’s claims the speaker system on the CX Sport headphones will be "audio specialist, delivering clear, detailed sound with the enhanced bass response."

Marcel Salzmann who is Product Manager at Sennheiser also spoke about this new launch and remarked "For many, headphones are a true workout essential. We have designed the CX Sport to deliver everything athletes need to get the most out of their workout session - great sound, secure fit and a robust but lightweight design."

As for the battery life on these headphones, Sennheiser has claimed that the CX Sport will be able to deliver six-hours of juice and then it will also charge up using fast-charge technology in ten minutes, which will give it one more hour of playback. The company has also claimed that the headphones will attain full charge in 1.5 hours. Also, to allow easy carry the headphones will ship with neoprene carry pouch.

For audio enthusiasts who want to get their hands on the latest CX Sport headphones right now, they can do so by heading over to the Sennheiser Webshop where the headphones have already started selling. For offline stores, the headphones are set to launch worldwide in June.
