Mobile 4 Mumbai Now In Airtel App Store

Telco and App store folks always scouting for Innovative and useful app for their large customer base, recently featured Mobile 4 Mumbai, which help you to find city bus search in Mumbai without sms, without gprs is now available for Airtel subscribers via Airtel app store.

This looks win-win game for All, Airtel+Mobile4Mumbai+Airtel End usrs + Mobile 4 Mumbai end users !This is fast move of Mobile 4 Mumbai after recent launch on Mobile 4 Mumbai Website and then Samsung Fun Club and now India’s largest App Store !

When contacted the developer  @raxit  he quoted Mobile 4 Mumbai is beyond Bus and they are turning the application and search for ATM, Hospital,Petrol pump etc.

@Nidhi Agree to your point, and few clarification 1. It is not anonymus number, its my mobile number- 98922 38248 2. Why we send SMS is because, today you have installed the app and after 4 month when Bus route change, we can notify about it. 3. Bus routes changing approx 8-9 month major. Frequency may change frequent, but routes are almost static. If we observe, there are 60% routes same since last 10 year plus ! 4. Nothing comes for free in India !Beware users there might be some hidden agenda behind this application. Why does this application sends an anonymous sms during installation ? BEST use to change the frequency of buses every month so what is the use of this offline application when its done they do wide publicity in leading local news papers. So for a commuter this application is of no use and why is TelecomTalk giving so much hype to a useless application ?? Yes it works on Java enabled phone only… almost 70% of pohne in Mumbai are java enabled.
