Dmitry Shukov Becomes CEO at MTS India, Rozanove Elevated to S-VP & CFO at Sistema JSFC

SSTLStarting from today, June 1st, 2013 Dmitry Shukov will take the charge of Sistema Shyam Teleservice Ltd, which operates in the country as MTS and offers voice and data services on CDMA platform. The Board of Directors of SSTL earlier approved appointment of Dmitry Shukov as CEO of SSTL. Dmitry formerly held senior management positions at Tele2 Russia, MTS Turkmenistan and MTS Uzbekistan.

Mikhail Shamolin, president, Sistema JSFC, says, "Dmitry has a wealth of operational experience, business acumen, and inspirational leadership needed to spearhead SSTL's next phase of growth. We welcome his appointment and look forward to his contribution in taking the company to OIBDA-positive stage."




The outgoing ex-CEO of SSTL, Vsevolod Rozanov is being elevated to Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, Sistema JSFC and will be moved to Moscow. He led the launch of the services in 2008 and development of the company into one of the leading data players in the country. Sistema JSFC Chairman of the Board Vladimir Evtushenkov said, “Vsevolod’s leadership and strategic direction provided to SSTL was immensely valuable and positioned the company amongst the top three data operators in India.”
