Vodafone rolls out 3G services on its own network in Shillong

Telecom operator Vodafone India has launched its 3G services on its own network in Shillong in Meghalaya. In order to provide high speed mobile internet services to its customers in the Meghalaya, Vodafone has so far deployed 68 new 3G towers and is in the process of adding more sites, a statement said. BSNL gears up for soft launch of 4G LTE services in Chandigarh today

State-run telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) is all set for the soft launch of its 4G LTE services in Chandigarh (Punjab Telecom Circle) today followed by Jaipur in coming days.
