BSNL 3G Services Now In Jammu and Kashmir

India's National Telecom backbone Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) finally launch its much awaited 3G Mobile and Data services in Jammu and Kashmir Telecom Circle.

According to Mr R K Kaul, CGMT, BSNL J&K circle, the 3G service is now available for BSNL subscribers in Srinagar and Jammu cities, the summer and winter capitals of the state, respectively and will be launched in 27 other towns including almost all the Districts of Kashmir Valley like Baramulla, Anantnag, Sopore, Pulwama, Shopian and Budgam by next week.




As of now the BSNL 3G users in Jammu and Kashmir can only use High Speed Mobile Broadband Services as the 3G Video calling service has not been cleared by the security agencies yet. The 3G Video Calling service will be launched after the clearance from security agencies.

Riding on 3G, BSNL gives several options including High Speed Internet access with faster data downloading speed up to 3.6 Mbps and also subscribers can enjoy Live Mobile TV & rich multimedia services on their mobile phone.

At present BSNL has 3G coverage in more than 850 cities across India. BSNL’s endeavors are focused on offering the latest technology and services at affordable cost to its customers.
