Best 4G Prepaid Tariff Plans from All Operators Under Rs. 500

With the entry of Reliance Jio into the 4G market since last year, price wars have been going on for long now. Airtel is the biggest telecom operator in India and has been frequently changing its tariff plans in response to Reliance Jio’s disruptive pricing. Ultimately this benefits the customers who get more data, calls and value-added services at lower rates.

Lately, Airtel and Vodafone have yet again revamped their prepaid plans in order to lure customers away from Jio. Below we have compiled an updated list of the best 4G prepaid tariff plans from all operators in November 2017.

Airtel Rs. 448 Plan

Airtel’s Rs. 448 plan is a new one and offers unlimited local, STD and roaming outgoing along with 70GB data. The voice calls are limited to 300 minutes per day and 1200 minutes per week. The reduction invalidity of the plan by 14 days has been compensated with unlimited calling even on roaming. So if you travel frequently, you need not worry about the roaming charges. Besides the plan also offers 100 free SMS per day. This offer is currently applicable on all 4G and 3G handsets.

Idea Cellular Rs. 357 Plan

Idea Cellular is also among one of the biggest networks in India. Lately Idea Cellular has introduced a new plan to counter the onslaught of Jio. The company is offering the new Rs. 357 plan with both voice calling and data benefits.

The recharge plan gives customers 1GB per day, unlimited calls and 100 SMSes per day, with a validity of 28 days. The plan, however, offers validity for mere 28 days which leaves Idea users with not many options.

Reliance Jio Rs. 459 Plan

Reliance Jio is the one that frequently plays price wars to keep its customer base intact all while cutting those of its competitors. Jio’s latest prepaid plan for Rs. 459 is best one yet for its customers looking for unlimited calls and internet.

Reliance Jio’s Rs 459 recharge comes with 1GB data per day along with unlimited calls, which includes local, STD and as well as roaming inside India. It also offers free 100 SMS per day and subscription for Jio apps such as JioCinema, JioTV and JioMusic for free. The great news about this plan is that it is valid for 84 days, unlike Airtel's Rs. 448 plan.

Vodafone Rs. 509 Plan

Keeping in line with its competitors, Vodafone has come with two new plans of Rs. 458 and Rs. 509. While the price of Rs. 509 is technically a little bit over 500 we have still added it to the list as best and on par with Jio’s plan.

Vodafone’s 509 prepaid plan gives the users 84 days validity of using 1GB data per day along with unlimited voice calls, includes both local and STD and those made on roaming inside India. The unlimited calling, however, is restricted to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week limit. Vodafone users also a free subscription to the Vodafone Play service as well as 100 free SMS per day as part of the plan.

BSNL Rs. 429 Plan

BSNL has introduced a Rs. 429 plan to combat the Jio threat. The plan offers 90GB of bundled data as part of 1GB per day along with the usual unlimited calling service to any network. BSNL’s prepaid recharge is the cheapest among all the operators as it comes with a validity of 90 days.
