Airtel is already killing the incumbent telecom operators by offering the best postpaid plans in the industry. And an upcoming move to the data rollover scheme will make Airtel the leader in the postpaid segment. Airtel will be upgrading its data rollover scheme and Airtel postpaid users can store up to 500GB 3G/4GB in their account from the previous 200GB data.

Airtel

Back in July 2017, Airtel announced its Postpaid Data Rollover scheme under which a user can carry forward his unused of this month to next month. Back then, Airtel announced that a person can store up to a maximum of 200GB per account. The data rollover scheme from Airtel is effective from August 1, 2017.

However, as per our internal sources and the company's customer support team, Airtel has extended the maximum data storage to 500GB but is yet to make an official announcement on the same. Having said that, this allows the customer to consume his data with much freedom.

Recently, Airtel has upgraded its postpaid plans with more than 1000% data offering, and several Airtel postpaid users were worried about their data goes in vain. But with this upcoming change, users need not have to worry about not consuming their monthly quota.

Airtel's top-end myPlan Infinity postpaid plan of Rs. 2,999 gives 200GB data per billing cycle. As per current limitation, customers under this plan was able to carry forward the only little amount of data depending on the usage, but with 500GB data limitation, customers can now stick with the same Rs. 2,999 plan.

To give a brief idea on Airtel's postpaid plans, they start from Rs. 399 and go up to Rs. 2,999. The Rs. 399 plan itself offers 10GB data per billing cycle, followed by the Rs. 499 plan with 20GB data. The Rs. 649 plan gives 30GB data per billing cycle along with unlimited voice calls, and the Rs. 799 plan also offers 40GB data with unlimited voice calls. Airtel also has a Rs. 999 plan that gives 50GB data per month.

These plans from Airtel are luring and attractive. In contrast with Reliance Jio, Airtel's postpaid plans seem to offer better value when it comes to data, thanks to the innovative data rollover feature from Airtel.
