Things seem not going well for Indian Intelligences Bureau after the launch of 3G service. Indian Intelligence bureau such as Research and Analysis Wing and Defense Intelligence Agency are screwing DOT to put an end to BSNL and MTNL’S 3G service until a monitoring device for video call is installed.
This comes at a time when MTNL and BSNL enlightened that interception to calls can be made during meeting with DOT officials on march 4th.
When a video call is made it goes via circuit switches which just act as a firewall like what we have in computers. But the problem what Intelligence Bureau are facing is the calls which goes via circuit switches cannot be decoded in real time and cannot be recorded .
BSNL and MTNL made it clear that it’s the job of intelligence bureau to upgrade the system rather to black off the entire service.
