MTNL Introduces Prepaid IPTV For Delhi & MumbaiMahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today announced the launch of Prepaid IPTV service in association with Aksh Optifibre Limited  for all its landline subscribers of Delhi and Mumbai under the Brand name iConrrol.




The Prepaid IPTV with Time Shift Digital TV features will be available from today in Delhi and Mumbai for all MTNL landline subscribers. The existing IPTV postpaid customers will continue to exist and eventually be converted to prepaid option. The existing users willing to switch to prepaid can request the same through MTNL IPTV customer care 126555.

MTNL iControl IPTV is a service that helps MTNL subscribers to control the television the way they want. With this  customers can watch TV programs at their convenience with is Time Shift features, so TV no longer decides what you watch or when you watch or the he days of "appointment TV" are over.Aksh iControl is not going to let any of the TV's moment get missed.

The prepaid service comes with many amazing features like Chill and Cool. The biggest advantage of IPTV is its Interactivity which allows viewers to pause, play and rewind all content which is not possible with other TVs and that is what that call "COOL" . Not only this; with "CHILL"  customer can watch your favorite shows missed up to last 7 days i.e., iControl IPTV keeps track of channels 24x7. At the time of launch of the prepaid service there are two prepaid plans available namely Premium and Connoisseur.

For new MTNL iControl IPTV connection, installation charges are:

i One time Registration charges Rs.200/-

ii Refundable Security deposit of Set top Box Rs1999/-

iii Refundable Modem Security Rs250/-
